Edinburgh Military Tattoo Tickets

The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo returns to the Castle Esplanade for The Same Heart Beat, its 2027 production. Massed pipes and drums, military bands and international performers take the arena beneath the floodlit walls of Edinburgh Castle.

The 21:30 performance begins as dusk settles over the Esplanade, with the Castle floodlit behind the arena. Monday shows open the week and are often among the easier dates to book.

Seating is arranged in Categories 1 to 3, with Category 1 closest to the arena and the clearest view of the massed bands. For this performance, Category 3 starts at £125, Category 2 at £140 and Category 1 at £165.
