Edinburgh Military Tattoo Tickets

The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo returns to the Castle Esplanade for The Same Heart Beat, its 2027 production. Massed pipes and drums, military bands and international performers take the arena beneath the floodlit walls of Edinburgh Castle.

The 21:30 performance begins as dusk settles over the Esplanade, with the Castle floodlit behind the arena — the setting the Tattoo is best known for. Midweek dates are the quietest of the run and carry the lowest prices of the season.

Seating is arranged in Categories 1 to 3, with Category 1 closest to the arena and the clearest view of the massed bands. For this performance, Category 3 starts at £110, Category 2 at £125 and Category 1 at £150.
