Edinburgh Military Tattoo Tickets

The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo returns to the Castle Esplanade for The Same Heart Beat, its 2027 production. Massed pipes and drums, military bands and international performers take the arena beneath the floodlit walls of Edinburgh Castle.

This is the earlier of the day's two performances, beginning at 18:15 while there is still daylight over the Esplanade — and it is filmed for later television broadcast. Cameras and additional lighting are positioned around the arena, and the audience forms part of the recording.

Seating is arranged in Categories 1 to 3, with Category 1 closest to the arena and the clearest view of the massed bands. For this performance, Category 3 starts at £115, Category 2 at £130 and Category 1 at £155.
